Advertise in JAR
The JAR Preview is an excellent way to reach the UFO community, especially with advertisements for UFO books and films on any phase of ufology.
What is the JAR Preview? The Preview is a promotional vehicle for JAR; it is a 2-page PDF we send out by email at the time of publication of the magazine. To see examples of the JAR Preview, click here. Page 2 of the Preview carries two ads.
The JAR Preview is proactive. We send out the Preview. We do not wait for people to visit our website.
The purpose of the Preview is to encourage subscriptions, and at the time of publication of the magazine we send the Preview out to JAR’s large mailing list of about 6000 UFO community email addresses. Most of the addresses are US, but some are in Europe.
The price
For two runs of a ˝ page ad in the JAR Preview, the price is $40. By two runs, we mean the ad will appear twice in
the Preview for two separate issues of JAR. Given our 6000-name email list, that means your ad will be sent out
12,000 times. You can provide us with a “camara ready” ad or, if we design the ad for you, there is a $35 design fee.
In addition, we also carry the ad on page 3 of JAR, the magazine.
